EP 027: Learning How to Recognize and Use that Feeling of Resistance
Monday Nov 05, 2018
Monday Nov 05, 2018
In this episode of the College Life podcast, we talk about that feeling of resistance. You know when you get that feeling like you should do something, and then you immediately feel that resistance - you can make any excuse in the book to put that thing off, or to ignore it all together.
When you start realizing these feelings of resistance, you can actually use it for good. Next time you feel that resistance toward something you know has the opportunity to bring good to your life, go towards it. Not away from it. Listen to your body.
Don't forget to listen to that pull, listen to that resistance and find out what is possible for you.

EP 025: What Got You to College, Won't Get You Out of College
Monday Oct 22, 2018
Monday Oct 22, 2018
In this episode, we talk about the concept, What Got You Here, Won't Get You There.
I've heard this message on a couple podcasts and I am also looking to read the book:
What Got You Here Won't Get You there by Marshall Goldsmith:
https://www.amazon.com/What-Got-Here-Wont-There/dp/1401301304/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1540179413&sr=8-1&keywords=what+got+you+here+wont+get+you+there
What got you to college will likely be different to get you to graduate from college. You will have to learn new skills, implement new strategies, and try different things to figure out what works for you.
What do you need to do to get to your goals?
