In this episode we interview Professor Dr. Michael Kimball and Author of the the book, Ethnowise: Embracing Culture Shock to Build Resilience, Responsiveness, and Connection
I LOVED our conversation. We talk about the culture matrix- how it is built and how you can learn to challenge yourself when experiencing uncomfortable situations.
We talk about how Michael became interested in Anthropology - he shares about his experience interning with the National Park Service and how it led him to where he is now (I love how he became interested in archaelogy/anthropology!)
We talk about how change is not something we (as humans) are good at.
We talk about mindfulness, being present, and the ABC's of Culture Shock.
